Delivery & Returns
We are still very much open for business as normal. We are doing everything we can to ensure in stock orders arrive within 10 working days – however, some international deliveries may take longer due to local government restrictions.
Due to an incredibly high number of orders We aim to have in stock items delivered to UK addresses within 10 working days of receiving your order. In the unlikely event this isn't possible we will contact you by e-mail to let you know.
Some items have a slightly longer lead time if they are currently out of stock and on pre-order. If this is the case this will be included in the product description.
Pre-order dates are not a guarantee as we are reliant on our suppliers but please be assured that we will dispatch your items as soon as they arrive with us.
As an environmentally conscious business and in order to minimise our carbon footprint, Unless you specify we may despatch all items together once your complete order is in stock.
Furniture order deliveries are dependent on our courier and we will notify you of your delivery slot. Larger item delivery timescales will vary.
As standard our furniture delivery charge includes One driver so you may be expected to assist with unload and therefore you will need to be present to receive your goods.
We are unable to give a specific time slot on Large item deliveries - it will be a given day and the driver will be able to give an indication of time, weather and traffic depending on the day.
Should you require a two man delivery and/or a specific time this can be arranged, but we will need to invoice you an additional charge.
If you aren't home to receive your arranged delivery we will bring your item back to the warehouse and we will need to reallocate your delivery slot which please note may not be until our next delivery run in your area therefore you will be charged an additional delivery charge.
Please allow longer for delivery to Ireland, The Scottish Highlands and both European and international Addresses.
Postage cost is worked out based on weight, fragility and size and will be calculated automatically at checkout.
Please ensure you enter your address correctly and ensure a postcode is entered as we cannot take responsibility for incorrect addresses. Please also include a telephone number as this will enable our courier service to contact you and update you on your delivery and reschedule where necessary.
During busy periods and public holidays please allow longer for delivery.
We use Two Main Courier Companies; APC and DPD.

However, if you decide you would like to return your item or it arrives and is damaged or faulty please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving your order.
We must then receive your returned item/s within 14 days of receiving your request for a return.
If your item is damaged or faulty please include images.
CharlesTed Interiors Returns

Please look after your unwanted Items once you have decided to return them - even if they are faulty - and they must be returned undamaged and in the original packaging. This is both the box they came in and the box they were sent in filled with the protective packaging.
You are responsible for the cost of returning your items (unless the item arrives faulty, damaged or the incorrect item has been received). We recommend using a tracked or recorded returns service as we are not responsible for lost parcels.
If you receive a faulty or damaged item we will send out a replacement to you as soon as possible. In some cases we may need you to return the damaged item to us. We will arrange for any damaged or faulty items to be collected. We may also request photographic evidence. Please do not dispose of damaged or faulty items or their packaging unless advised to do so by us.
Once we have received your return we will process your refund minus the original postage cost and any courier charges and if you have requested one, release your exchange.
For all damaged or faulty items requiring a refund the full cost of your order including postage will be refunded.
Refunds will normally show in your account within 3-5 days but sometimes can take longer especially when paying via Paypal.
Please be aware that due to Staff shortages because of COVID-19 returns are taking up to 10 days to be processed.
If you are a UK/ EU Customer all of the above complies with Consumer Protection distance selling regulations 2000.
CharlesTed Interiors is a UK company which upholds The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Your Statutory Rights are Not Affected.
We are an environmentally conscious business so it may be that your order won't be packed using a brand new box. However, all 'recycled' packaging will be fit for purpose and in good condition and the goods inside will still be just as beautiful!
We use eco fill to pack our more delicate goods which is made from potato starch and dissolves in water rather than taking up space in landfill!
Simply empty the box into your sink or bath and pour water on it and the ecofill will dissolve.
All air fill cushioning is made from recycled plastic and can be recycled after use.
